What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Clinician position at LifeWays - Jackson-Hillsdale Community Mental Health Board?
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in behavioral health? Join LifeWays as an Access Clinician, where you’ll provide trauma-informed, culturally competent evaluations and connect individuals to the mental health services they need.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm, No Weekends
As an Access Clinician, you will:
- Conduct thorough intake assessments for Medicaid and other health plans to determine service needs.
- Screen and connect individuals to appropriate community resources and crisis interventions.
- Provide on-call and crisis services in diverse settings, including hospitals, schools, and homes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure individuals receive the best possible care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support effective service delivery.
What You’ll Bring:
- Education & Licensure: Master’s degree and appropriate licensure (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, LLP).
- Experience: 3 years working within Michigan's community mental health system.
- Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, time management, and multitasking abilities.
