Position Title: Accounts Payable Technician
Department: Accounting
Hours: Full-time; 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday (non-exempt)
Location: Lifeworks Services – Richfield, MN (Hybrid)
Compensation: $20 to $24.51 per hour
Bonus Eligible: Yearly

- Must pass a background study with the Department of Human Services, a drug test, and have reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes (e.g., in-office, on-site training locations, etc.).
- Reviewing, verifying, and entering invoices into Lifeworks systems ensuring all necessary documentation is received, accurate, and complies with program regulations and company policies.
- Reviewing, verifying, and processing requests for online purchases.
- Maintaining accurate records of transactions, including invoice details and payment history, to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Communicating with customers or vendors regarding payment inquiries, invoice issues, and discrepancies.
- Providing exceptional customer service by using Lifeworks customer service standards including (but not limited to) answering phone calls, processing customer service tickets, and in-person customer service from the administrative office.
- Reconciling all entries and resolve discrepancies by auditing and correcting errors or inconsistencies.
- Assisting in generating reports related to accounts payable activities, such as unprocessed requests, aging reports, and payment status summaries.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similar field preferred.
- Experience using computer applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must pass a background study with the Department of Human Services, a drug test, and have reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes (e.g., in-office, on-site training locations, etc.).
