What are the responsibilities and job description for the MA - Modality Technician position at LifeWorks Wellness Center?
LifeWorks Wellness Center is looking for Medical Assistants to join our team as Modality Technicians. Our clinic is expanding at a rapid rate and so is our team!

People travel from all over the world to see our doctors and receive our lifesaving holistic treatment programs.
Your duties as a Medical Assistant - Modality Technician would include:
- Delivering modality treatments to patients (training provided on delivering each specific treatment). A full list treatments can be found on our website, https://www.lifeworkswellnesscenter.com.
- Ensuring all of the proper consent forms are signed by each patient
- Entering all notes into each patient chart for all treatments
- Following up with all patients to ensure each patient follows their treatment schedule
- Performing the set up and clean up checklists on the equipment to prepare for patient use
Education and/or Experience:
- Graduate of Highschool/GED or equivalent
- 1 years experience as Medical Assistant
- Familiarity of medical terminology
- Intermediate computer skills
- The ability to study and learn quickly
- Superior communication and patient service skills
Language Skills:
- Must speak English. Any other language is a plus. Must have excellent interactive communication skills, making patients feel comfortable and at-ease.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, must be able to stand for periods up to 7 hours at a time caring for patients and assisting the doctor.
Hours:
- This is a full-time hourly position with a 37.5-hour work week in the office, Monday-8:00-5:00
- Tues-Thurs.- 8:45-5:00
- Friday-8:45-4:00
