LifeWorks Wellness Center is looking for a highly compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team of health care professionals. Our clinic is expanding at a rapid rate and so is our team!

People travel from all over the world to see our practitioners and receive our lifesaving holistic treatment programs.
We utilize both conventional and alternative methods to facilitate the body's innate healing response.
Your duties as the MA - Practitioner Assistant would include:
- Maintain communication with the practitioner regarding patient treatment and care
- Ensure proper consent forms are signed by each patient
- Observe, monitor and record patient behavior and progress
- Maintain communication with patients, ensuring they are happily progressing through their treatment plan
- Maintain medical records and documentation in patient charts
- Complete referrals with all necessary data
- Assist practitioner with performing therapy
Education and/or Experience:
- Graduate of Highschool/GED or equivalent
- 2 years in healthcare
- Experience using EMR software
- Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent experience
- Superior communication and patient service skills
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and experience working in a fast paced environment
Language Skills:
Must speak English.
Physical Demands of Position:
While performing the duties of this job, must be able to stand or sit for periods up to 7 hours at a time caring for patients and assisting the doctor.
Hours:
This is a full-time hourly position with a 37.5 hour work week in the office, Monday-Friday.
