Lift All Company – Application Administrator

From our beginning in 1964, Lift-All Company has grown to be the biggest and most well-known manufacturer of slings for overhead lifting and load securement products in North America. Our products are sold through industrial distributors and contractor supply houses in the US and abroad. We operate with five plant location in Lancaster PA, Chicago IL, Houston TX, Atlanta GA & Las Vegas NV.

We are currently seeking an addition of an Application Administrator to join our IT staff in our Landisville, PA location. This position is HYBID - working in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and remote Monday and Friday. Hours are generally 8:00 to 5:00 M-F. The Application Administrator’s role is to support and configure the business ERP software. This includes business process flows, forms, reports, EDI, customizations, and configurations. This person will also analyze and resolve end-user technical ERP software issues and provide user application training where required. This position reports to the Director of Information Technology and works in concert with the Network Technician.

Skills and Requirements include:

  • Ability to communicate with employees, management and vendors.
  • Ability to quickly solve problems and multitask while working a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.
  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Programing experience in C# required.
  • Experience with multi-site enterprise ERP and CRM infrastructure and implementation and support
  • Epicor ERP experience preferred including BAQ, BPM, Configurator and third-party integrations (e.g. Bartender Quickship, etc.).
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Epicor Data Migration Tool (DMT).
  • Strong knowledge in querying, data-mining, updating, and working with databases.
  • Experience with EDI implementations, administration and support.
  • Experience in form creation with SSRS & Crystal Reports.
  • Experience with business process analysis from an IT perspective.
  • Hands-on ERP software troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with data management and security
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Ability to travel domestically for training.

Job Title: Application Administrator

Reports To: Director of Information Technology

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: The Application Administrator’s role is to support, configure, and develop the business ERP software. This includes business process flows, forms, reports, EDI, customizations, and configurations. This person will also analyze and resolve end-user technical software issues and provide user application training where required. This position reports to the Director of Information Technology and works in concert with the Network Technician.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain custom functions for business processes and tasks inside of ERP systems.
  • Create reports in response to business user needs and the ability to utilize SQL queries to update fields and tables against the SQL server database as needed.
  • Perform SQL Server enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance following best practices.
  • Oversee the scheduling of automated system processes and reports generated from ERP systems.
  • Management and Implementation of custom forms, while maintaining existing forms utilizing both Crystal Reports and SSRS.
  • Support EDI transactions by working closely with our EDI vendor and customer service team.
  • Maintain and implement new custom part configurations within the ERP system.
  • Create, support, and publish business activity queries and dashboards.
  • Administer the ERP user accounts and security permissions.
  • Create and support label printing utilizing Bartender software for products, shipping, and barcoding.
  • Review, implement, and support third-party software to be used in conjunction with the ERP system, i.e., shipping software and credit card functionality.
  • Lead the development and/or migration projects of business ERP software, including test environments. Working with various departments to meet and set all expectations.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of computer hardware and software to help support end-users during ERP troubleshooting.
  • Create written documentation of work performed, user guides, and processes for the department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: College diploma, university, or associate’s degree in the field of computer science and/or 5 years equivalent work experience. Programming experience in C#, SSRS, and Crystal reports. Experience managing and maintaining a mixed-use SQL Server Environment, supporting a multi-site enterprise manufacturing ERP/CRM infrastructure. 3-5 years of SQL/ERP Development and/or 3 years of Epicor Kinetic experience are required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to listen and understand others, explain and convey technical information to others verbally and in writing. Ability to read, interpret, apply and explain IT related processes and procedures. Exceptional communication skills, utilizing Microsoft Teams, E-mail and CRM for planning and processing change requests.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units or measurements using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to work in an environment with occasional interruptions. Able to solve practical and complex problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where standardization of procedures exist. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished verbally or in written format including technical documentation and instruction manuals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and hear. Dexterity of hands and fingers requires a computer keyboard, mouse, hand tools, and to handle other computer components. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environmental characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate when working in the office.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
