What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Room Attendant position at Lift Bridge Lodge?
We’re a highly-regarded property in our area, looking for a motivated, organized housekeeper to join our team. Your mission is to provide an exceptional experience to every guest who stays with us. Cleaning duties will include making beds, vacuuming and mopping, restocking toiletries, washing and ironing sheets, and other general tasks. Compensation:$17 per hour
Responsibilities:- Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
- Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival
- Answer general questions from guests
- Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed
- Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned
- Doing laundry
- Ironing sheets
- Other general cleaning duties as assigned
- Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
- Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification
- At least 1 year of experience as a professional housekeeper preferred
The Lift Bridge Lodge is an independently owned hotel on the shores of Lake Superior. We are part of the Ascend Collection by Choice Hotels. This property has 123 rooms and is situated in the heart of Canal Park in Duluth, MN.
