Job Summary:
Maximize customer satisfaction by creating and maintaining both battery operations (to include chargers/related items) and Crown InfoLink Products, which are responsive and supportive to internal and external customer needs. This includes timely, dependable aftermarket battery sales and service at competitive prices to the customer as well as sales and support to the end user. This will provide for both growth in battery sales, service and InfoLink products resulting in adequate profit margins for Lift Power, Inc.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide sales and service support for all Motive Power Products and Crown InfoLink products to ensure a standard of customer service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
- Motive Power:
- Includes aftermarket battery sales, sales support, installation, repairs and related field issues.
- Maintain ongoing communications with vendors and other sources to expand knowledge of battery/charger/related item technology and design change.
- Conduct training for our technicians on battery and charger service and for our sales team on selling the features and benefits of LPI represented motive power products including V-Force
- Crown InfoLink Products
- Includes implementing and managing the go-live process of Infolink products and consulting with end-users to improve processes and ensure the successful adoption of InfoLink.
- Have a thorough awareness of how customers are utilizing the system
- Conduct quarterly end-user review, reviewing all fault codes, and understand how they are using it. Make recommendations for best practices to ensure end user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with project management and product installation teams to ensure the go-live event facilitates a favorable start to InfoLink adoption. This may include product association and programming customer wireless files when requested.
- Conduct training for our sales team on selling Right Start
- Conduct any end-user training of InfoLink products.
- Communicate with other departments regarding common customers and areas of opportunity. Act as liaison with other departments. Assist in compiling and writing quotations with Sales and Service.
- Actively promote safety and good housekeeping with special emphasis on the accuracy of scrap load reports, handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Interview, select, and train associates. Provide for training through vendors and other sources. Conduct performance reviews. Make decisions regarding salaries and terminations in coordination with the General Manager, Parts, and Service.
- Review all battery service orders, internal and external, to assure proper and fair billing rates.
- Develop and sales and marketing budget in coordination with the Operations Manager.
- Maintain positive communications with company managers.
- Upon assignment, train sales coordinator on products, availability, labor justification as well as communicative skills with customers and other Lift Power departments.
- Accept new duties and responsibilities when they are assigned.
