What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock and Door Assistant Project Manager position at Lift Power Inc?
Assists the Dock & Door project manager and department manager in the areas of quality control, project cost management, technician management, and work order accuracy and completion. Maintain good customer relationships and help achieve total customer satisfaction. Assist in inventory control and warehouse management to help ensure an efficient flow of products to our technicians.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Visit project job sites to ensure:
- job is on schedule - report any concerns about hours bid vs. actual labor
- work is being performed properly and to specifications
- all work is being done in a safe manner
- all customer concerns are addressed
- Make sure site is kept clean and orderly
Sales/Service Support:
- Provide sales and service support for Lift Power Dock & Door products and services with existing customers while increasing LPI’s new business development
- Quote Savannah End Users projects as well as Service (when required)
- Periodic ride-alongs with Savannah D&D Salesman
- Attend occasional job site meetings with contractors
Take care of Dock and Door Warehouse duties:
- Ensure parts are received properly
- Put stock parts away
- Check stock levels and get parts reordered
- Ensure techs are properly replenishing their vans
- Watch for parts discrepancies and report them to ops manager
Strong knowledge of the Dock & Door Business- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- General computer skills
