About Us
Liggett Group LLC, a manufacturer of tobacco products, is currently seeking an Electrician to join our team in Mebane, NC. This role is critical to maintaining and repairing electrical systems within our facility while ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
Position Summary
The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in an industrial setting. This role requires expertise in industrial or construction electrical work, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC guidelines.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting using testing devices to identify and resolve issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, single-line, and elementary drawings.
- Install r aceways, including cable trays, wireways, and various conduit types.
- Respond to emergencies to resolve immediate safety concerns.
- Participate in safety meetings and conduct facility inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Operate aerial lifts and climb ladders as required.
- Utilize and interface with the Company’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and vendors.
