We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Splicer and a rookie looking to start a career to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with network infrastructure. This role involves field service work, requiring the ability to operate heavy equipment and climb to perform splicing tasks on telephone and telecommunications lines. If no experience, we have a year long apprenticeship we will put you through.
Responsibilities
- Perform splicing of fiber optic in various field locations.
- Operate bucket trucks and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct tests using OTDR and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper connectivity.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Fiber Optic network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
- Document work performed accurately for reporting purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service during field operations.
Qualifications

- Proven experience in telecommunications is preferred for higher pay.
- Familiarity with Fiber Optic network infrastructure is a plus.
- Ability to operate bucket trucks and heavy equipment safely.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for project completion.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
