Job Title: Lighting Installer – Electrical & Specialty Fixtures

Job Summary:
We’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Lighting Installer to join our growing team. This position involves installing electrical lighting fixtures, repairing lamps/light fixtures, ceiling fans, dimmers, and various specialty lighting systems in residential and commercial settings. If you have basic electrical wiring knowledge—or are willing to learn—and enjoy physical work with lots of variety, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Install ceiling fans, dimmers, lighting fixtures, and specialty lighting solutions
- Perform basic electrical wiring or assist lead electricians during installs
- Safely operate ladders and occasionally work from scaffolding
- Load/unload equipment and materials (light to heavy lifting required)
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Diagnose issues and provide effective, on-the-spot solutions
- Drive to job sites throughout the Chicagoland area (company vehicle provided)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Basic electrical wiring experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Comfortable with physically demanding work and working at heights
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-first attitude
- Problem solver with the ability to think on your feet
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- CDL not required, but a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
