What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Teacher/Floater position at Lightbridge Academy?
What Will You Do
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Implementation of curricula activities.
- Maintaining a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Ensure a smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote discipline and respect
Qualifications
- High School Diploma OR CDA OR Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study
- 1 year experience working in child care
- First Aid & CPR certified or willing to get certified within 90 days of hire
- PA clearances
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
