Summary
As a Full Time Teacher (Floater), you will be integral to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young learners. Reporting to the Lead Teacher in room assigned to for the day, you will utilize your core skills in classroom management, lesson planning, and early childhood education to support various classroom settings. Your premium skills in curriculum development and behavior management will enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. With certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Child Development, you will ensure a safe and supportive atmosphere, making a significant impact on the growth and development of each child in your care.
What Will You Do
- Help provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Assist in the implementation of curricula activities.
- Assist in maintaining a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Ensure a smooth, daily transition from home to child care center.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote discipline and respect
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED, and significant college credit in Early Childhood Education or related field of study preferred
- CDA or 6 hours of ECE credit preferred
- 1 year experience working in childcare preferred
- First Aid & CPR certified or willing to get certified within 90 days of hire
- PA Clearances
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
