As an Assistant Teacher, you will: Collaborate with a team of teachers and administrators who share your love of education as they help us provide our students with the best learning experience possible. As a key member of our team, you will help in delivering lesson plans focused on early childhood education and help children learn through hands-on activities, assisting the lead teacher in providing quality care and education! Your expert hands will foster a happy and nurturing environment enabling children to explore and discover many “aha” moments.
Responsibilities
- Work with Lead Teacher to evaluate student progress
- Help Plan curriculum with varying developmental needs
- Track academic performance
- Work as a team player with other members of the teaching staff
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Lead Teacher or similar role
- 45 DCF Training Hours REQUIRED before employment
- Experience in teaching and planning lessons
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to provide colleagues and friends with honest, constructive criticism
- Collaborative and creative mindset, with an affinity for problem-solving
- Strong passion for the development and education of youth
- CDA required for Lead Teacher positions
Job Types: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour, depending on position offered.
