LightFeather is currently seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with configuration management, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and Linux administration. You will be responsible for automating and optimizing our deployment pipelines, managing infrastructure as code, and ensuring system reliability.
This is a Full Time, Remote Position.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain machine configuration using Ansible.
- Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines and leverage NodeJS for tooling.
- Manage and deploy AWS infrastructure, particularly EC2 instances, using Terraform.
- Ensure system stability and performance by administering Red Hat Linux environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline deployments and improve system efficiency.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, automation scripts, and deployment workflows.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain clearance at the Public Trust level or above. Active or prior clearance is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or related roles.
- Strong expertise in Ansible for configuration management.
- Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Proficiency in NodeJS for building and maintaining tools.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, IAM, S3, VPC, etc.) and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- Deep understanding of Red Hat Linux administration, troubleshooting, and security best practices.
Preferred:
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting proficiency in Bash and/or Python.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
