LightFeather is seeking ServiceNow Developers / Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to join our team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to design, develop, configure, and deploy solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications and enhancements while ensuring platform stability through best practices. This is a full-time position that offers remote or hybrid work options.

- Location : Washington, DC
- Clearance : U.S. Citizenship; Preference for candidates who are already cleared for Secret / Top Secret clearance - this clearance is a requirement for the position.
Core Responsibilities Solution Design and Development
Implement the full software development lifecycle for ServiceNow custom applications and capabilities.Customize ServiceNow applications and lead the rollout of new applications and modules.Provide ServiceNow integration support with external systems and data sources.Follow Agile methodologies to plan, develop, and deliver ServiceNow capabilities.Workflow and Scripting
Create and manage workflows, business rules, and scripts.Configure application User Interface (UI), including defining data tables, APIs, and user interfaces for ServiceNow applications.Develop scripts and automation for Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, and other functionalities.Customer Engagement
Collaborate with business users to understand and document current and future business processes.Provide technical expertise on all questions related to assigned development on the ServiceNow platform.Work effectively in dynamic environments, communicating clearly with stakeholders to prioritize tasks and meet requirements.Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.Experience :At least 3 years of ServiceNow development experience.
At least 5 years of platform development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, or other programming languages.Strong knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident Management, and Knowledge Base.Familiarity with ITSM principles and integration of solutions within complex IT infrastructures.Ability to communicate effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.Preferred Qualifications
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ServiceNow Developer Certification.Experience developing custom reports using business intelligence (BI) tools.Knowledge of ITIL / ITSM frameworks and best practices.Proven ability to handle large datasets and perform data modeling for decision-making.Why Join LightFeather?
