As we expand our outreach and catering services, we are looking for a dynamic, driven, and hands-on Restaurant Sales & Operations Manager to lead our team, grow sales, and take Livello to the next level.

Job Summary

The Restaurant Sales & Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, develop and execute strategies to increase restaurant and catering sales, and maintain exceptional service standards. This role requires a self-motivated individual comfortable with traveling locally to generate awareness, secure catering partnerships, and drive revenue growth. A proactive approach and ability to operate independently in a restaurant setting are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Business Development:

  • Focus on organic growth of restaurant sales by creating community connections and partnerships.
  • Travel locally to nearby areas to raise awareness of Livello and secure catering opportunities.
  • Develop and execute monthly strategies to grow catering sales, with commissions tied to performance.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, businesses, and organizations for recurring catering opportunities.
  • Analyze sales performance and identify new revenue streams.

Operations Management

  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
  • Manage financials, including tracking sales, controlling budgets, and ensuring profitability.
  • Maintain inventory levels and coordinate orders to support business needs.
  • Ensure all opening, closing, and operational procedures are followed correctly.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff to uphold Livello’s service standards.
  • Create staff schedules to ensure optimal shift coverage.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Lead by example, assisting in operations as needed to maintain a seamless workflow.

Customer Experience & Quality Assurance

  • Foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
  • Address customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly.
  • Ensure food quality, service consistency, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Technology & Delivery Management

  • Utilize Toast POS for order and financial management.
  • Optimize third-party delivery platforms (Uber Eats, DoorDash, EZ Cater) to enhance off-site sales.
  • Track delivery performance metrics and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or related roles.
  • Ability to independently drive catering sales and deliver measurable results.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on growing business profitability.
  • Familiarity with POS systems (Toast) and third-party delivery platforms.
  • Comfortable with local travel to promote and expand the restaurant’s reach.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to resolve issues effectively.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in managing small restaurants with a focus on business growth.
  • Background in catering sales or client relationship management.
  • Passion for the culinary industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
  • Certifications in hospitality or management are a plus.
