Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and organization of parts and supplies in the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, utilizing inventory management systems and software.
- Perform regular inventory audits to identify shortages, discrepancies, and replenishment needs.
- Prepare and pack parts orders for service technicians, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.
- Monitor and track delivery schedules to optimize efficiency and meet service demands.
- Assist service technicians in locating and retrieving parts from the warehouse as needed.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of parts requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, promoting a culture of safety within the team.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with internal team members.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or supervisor.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous experience in warehouse operations or inventory management is preferred.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and maintaining records.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
· Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software.
· Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
· Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical parts is a plus.
