What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Teacher position at Lighthouse Academy Inc.?
Summer camp teacher
Hours will vary. We are open Monday through Friday 5:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Teacher who will not only teach, but encourage and nurture each and every child according to their individual needs.
Applicant will present yourself as a professional caregiver at all times. Be organized and keep a safe and structured environment. Applicant must be able to maintain a classroom with little to no supervision. Promote teamwork and positive interaction with children, parents, and staff. Communicate and create positive relationships with children, parents, and staff. Able to lift a minimum of 40lbs. Must have a passion to be the one to make a difference in every child.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience preferred but not required. Be at least 18 years old and able to pass a series of background checks as well as getting your fingerprints registered with the FBI. Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Have a valid drivers license or valid I.D. Copy of your social security card or birth certificate. Able to pass a drug screen and all random.
