As the Crisis Intervention Team Manager, you will oversee and monitor the day-to-day functioning of the Crisis Intervention Team who work with consumers and the community to empower, uplift, and help others heal from the many forms of mental illness, trauma, or addiction.

DEFINITION:
Under immediate to general supervision, this person will supervise the operations of the Crisis Intervention Team which consists of the Crisis Intervention Specialists and Crisis Dispatch and Placement. This position is supervised by the Director of Crisis Services.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Completion of the curriculum requirements of a minimum of a masters degree in a mental health or substance abuse related field from an accredited university and qualifications as a Licensed Mental Health Professional as defined by Oklahoma Statute Title 43A-1-103.
- Two years experience in a professional capacity involving the delivery of clinical service or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Considerable skill in working with people, in effectively treating social, emotional and addiction problems, in expressing ideas clearly and concisely in written and oral form, in exercising good judgment in evaluating situations and in making decisions
- An expectation of core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders, trauma informed care and collaborative care.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Knowledge of the principles and tests, the application of psychological theories with respect to group and individual behavior; of mental illness, its symptoms, treatment, and social implications in relation to consumers and their family.
- Knowledge of the principles and techniques of crisis management and stabilization.
- Skill in diagnosing, assessing, and developing care plans; evaluating a wide variety of clinical data; in carrying out courses of treatment; in counseling and guiding individuals and groups; and in communicating clearly, both orally and in writing.
- Knowledge of counseling and psychotherapy techniques for individuals, families, and groups.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of social work and/or psychology and of current social and economic problems.
- Knowledge of personality development and structure.
- Knowledge of counseling and rehabilitative approaches utilized with individuals diagnosed with Serious Mental Illness.
- Ability to evaluate situations and adopt an effective course of action, to delegate responsibilities, organize and present facts effectively.
- Considerable skill in working with people to establish working relationships within an integrated team to coordinate and facilitate care by assessing consumer needs, evaluating treatment options, creating care plans, coordinating care with internal and external providers, and monitoring progress.
- Able to effectively exercise good clinical judgment when evaluating situations and making decisions.
- Specialized training and/or certification in mental health services or related fields that may be required to provide adjunctive services, i.e., Suicide Assessment and Trauma.
- Knowledge of 43A, CR 42 Part 2, and any other State and Federal regulations that affect the execution of duties related to the Crisis Intervention Team.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible and held accountable for the following duties:

- Be available 24/7/365 for Crisis Intervention Team support.
- Monitor adherence to Lighthouse procedures resulting in efficient and effective Crisis Intervention services.
- Provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive documentation review that meets all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Provide accurate, timely, and comprehensive documentation review that ensures accurate billing, ensuring financial integrity and compliance.
- Complete annual performance evaluations with assigned staff according to Lighthouse expectations.
- Meet with staff as needed to identify and correct areas of concern according to Lighthouse expectations.
- Collaborate with other Lighthouse Teams and understand how these Teams work in sync with the Crisis Team.
- Must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel normally associated with this position.
- Prepares for and actively participates in Team meetings and Lighthouse events that are assigned.
- Must complete Lighthouse required training and resulting follow up and consultation as required at hire, annually and as directed by Supervisor.
- Must meet satisfactory expectations at any scheduled job performance evaluation, coaching and/or Performance Improvement Plans.
- Assessment and appraisal of quality of work will be evaluated through training, skill, chart review or special purpose.
- Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management as requested.
