As an I.T. Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring technology systems function smoothly, providing frontline support to staff and assisting in the management of technological tools and infrastructure.
To meet the increasing needs of our communities, all team members must successfully reach and maintain expected performance standards. Lighthouse will provide the tools and training necessary to help you succeed.
DEFINITION:
Under immediate to general supervision:
- Will provide support to all staff regarding technical trouble, requests, installations, and onboarding to ensure smooth operations for Lighthouse staff and systems.
- Will support and maintain technologies in Lighthouse to support staff during internal operations and help optimize functions.
This position is supervised by the Chief Information Officer.
Qualifications and Benefits
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- 6 months-1 year of experience in I.T. support or a related role.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Comprehensive understanding of hardware, software, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Ability to learn new technologies and grow understanding in your field.
- Strong knowledge of I.T. support tools and systems, including Windows, Office 365, and ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of basic User Active Directory and Management.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide first-level technical support for end users.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions within Azure and other platforms.
- Support internal staff with onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assist in training end users on software, hardware, and system changes.
- Updating and managing I.T. documentation and knowledge base.
- Complete project related tasks that are assigned.
- Collaborate with I.T. staff to improve processes and system efficiency.
- Follow security protocols to protect company data and systems.
Must perform the specific job duties as listed above to meet position expectations.
