Sales Manager
Lighthouse is looking for an individual who exudes a servant heart, has a good work ethic, and strong sales and management skills in the auto industry.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: 100,000 - 140,000 - Hourly bonuses
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM M-F, and 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Saturday. One day off during M-F, one Saturday off per month. This position is expected to stay after hours (.5-1 hr average) 2-3 nights a week to care for customers/complete deals.

Summary
The sales manager at Lighthouse appraises vehicles, coordinates with salespeople for customer trade ins, and coaches salespeople for structuring the deal. Essential Duties
- Ensures that each customer receives a great greeting as quickly as possible.
- Appraises vehicles and coordinates with salespeople for customer trade ins.
- Helps salespeople close deals when necessary and is available to assist with turnovers and the transition to the business/finance office.
- Monitors salesperson productivity and performance.
- Trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all salespeople.
- Assists in development of improvement programs for salespeople who are having difficulty reaching their objectives.
- Ensures salespeople maintain a high Customer satisfaction rating.
- Implements and maintains a prospect tracking and follow-up system.
- Recommends for dismissal any salesperson failing to meet dealership standards.
- Communicates with new-vehicle and used-vehicle salespeople to ensure that dealership policies and procedures are understood and followed.
- Forecasts aggressive yet realistic monthly goals and objectives for individual salespeople and provides them with the support to meet these goals.
- Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state, and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Serves as liaison between sales department and other departments.
- Attends managers meetings as requested.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and experience
- Valid Driver's License required.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of experience as a sales manager in a dealership setting required.
- 1-2 years of GM (General Motors) experience preferred but not required.
