Position Overview:
The Assistant Early Learning Director plays a vital role in supporting the Early Learning Director in managing and overseeing the operations of the Early Learning program. This position is instrumental in ensuring the delivery of high-quality education aligned with biblical principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a commitment to faith-based learning, and exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Support: Assist the Early Learning Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating curriculum and activities to ensure they align with Christian values and best practices in early learning.
- Operational Oversight: Assist in managing daily operations, including scheduling, classroom assignments, resource allocation and financial follow up with parents..
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with state regulations, licensing requirements, and the school’s policies. Monitor safety protocols to provide a secure environment for students and staff.
- Parent Communication: Build positive relationships with parents and families, addressing concerns, sharing updates, and promoting involvement in their child's education.
- Spiritual Leadership: Provide spiritual encouragement to staff, students, and families by leading prayers, devotionals, and fostering a Christ-centered atmosphere.
- Substitute Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the Early Learning Center Director.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Early Learning Education, preferably in an administrative role as well as teaching.
- A deep commitment to Christian faith and the mission of Christ-centered education.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with state licensing and early learning compliance standards.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and children.
