What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle/High School Technology Teacher position at LIGHTHOUSE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL?
Lighthouse Christian School is seeking a (7th-12th Grade) Technology Teacher who is proficient in leading and revitalizing technology programs for middle and high school students. The ideal candidate should be able to teach Technology and implement learning with a wide range of activities to keep learning fun and engaging. The candidate must be willing to continue to grow as an educator and serve as a contributing member of the LCS MSHS teaching team. This position must teach a strongly developed curriculum as well as have strong classroom management skills. The candidate must be flexible, ready to teach, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate must be an active member of a Christian church, a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, and able to pass a background check.
The candidate must live in the United States of America. Due to time management and urgency for hire, we currently do not offer moving expenses for candidates who are relocating to Tennessee. Thank you for your understanding.
Applicants will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of one’s particular classroom assignment. This includes planning for and teaching the adopted curriculum, organizing the appropriate classroom activities, setting reasonable goals for the individual students, measuring student progress, and developing appropriate working relationships with parents and other teachers. Applicants must be responsible, energetic, and caring.
