Position Summary : The
Sales Support Specialist
will play a critical role in supporting our sales process, ensuring seamless communication, lead intake, coordination, and document preparation. Unlike a traditional sales role, this position requires a
strong understanding of residential construction, remodeling, or design principles
to effectively assist in project proposals, estimates, and client consultations.Only applicants with direct experience in residential remodeling, construction, or design should apply.
Key Responsibilities : 1. Client Communications & Coordination : Serve as the
first point of contact
for potential clients, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and website submissions.Schedule and confirm
client meetings, ensuring all necessary materials and agendas are prepared in advance.Maintain professional and timely communication with clients throughout the sales process.2. Lead Intake & Qualification : Manage incoming leads
by gathering essential information and
qualifying potential clients
based on project scope, budget, and company criteria.Accurately input lead data into
HubSpot CRM
and maintain up-to-date records.Coordinate follow-ups and track the status of leads to ensure no opportunities are missed.
3. Proposal & Estimate Assistance : Gather and organize information to assist in creating
detailed project proposals and scopes of work.Work closely with the Sales and Production teams to develop accurate
project estimates
and budgets.Assist in preparing and formatting
contracts, presentations, and client documents.4. Operational & Sales Support : Collaborate with design and production teams to
ensure alignment on client needs and project timelines.Provide administrative support to the sales team, including
calendar management and task prioritization.Assist with special projects that support company growth and efficiency.5. Process Improvement & Documentation : Help develop and refine
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
for the sales and client intake process.Identify
opportunities to streamline workflows
and improve efficiency within the sales team.
Qualifications : ✅
Required : Minimum
2 years of experience
in residential design, remodeling, or construction (sales support, estimating, project coordination, or design experience preferred).✅
Strong technical knowledge
of construction materials, home remodeling processes, and design principles.✅
Excellent written and verbal communication skills , with a professional and customer-focused approach.✅
Highly organized and detail-oriented , with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.✅ Proficiency in
HubSpot CRM, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail), and Buildertrend (preferred).✅ Ability to work
independently and collaboratively
in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Compensation & Benefits : Salary :
55,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience).⏰
