We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic addition to our front office staff who is outgoing, hardworking, and passionate about helping others to join our team.
We are seeking a long-term Dental Receptionist who enjoys interacting with customers, working as part of a team, and maintaining a clean and comfortable waiting area. We're looking for outgoing individuals, who are hardworking and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will possess effective communication skills, be an effective workplace leader, and be able to work on multiple projects at once while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting all patients (check-in and check-out)
- Scheduling and rescheduling appointments
- Preparing patient charts for staff members and keeping them up to date
- Preparing forms and scanning documents
- Presenting treatment plan
- Collecting payments
- Communicating with insurance companies
- Managing patient referrals
- Cross-trained to be able to help as an assistant when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Excellent customer service
- Must be able to perform all administration duties needed to ensure the office is running efficiently and effectively
- Must be self-motivated, dependable, flexible, professional, able to work independently
- Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
- Proficient with computers and has an experience using Microsoft Office
- At least one year of dental office experience preferred but not required, willing to train
- Preference using Dentrix software
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
