About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Construction QA/QC Specialist to oversee quality control and commissioning of electrical systems in a commercial construction environment. This role requires collaboration within a fast-paced team, problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Local to the Richmond, Virginia area or willing to work in this region.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and installation.
- Experience improving accuracy, reducing rework, and enhancing installation quality.
- Excellent communication and training skills for in-person and remote instruction.
- Ability to develop and execute QA/QC standards beyond current workflows.
- Skilled in problem identification, troubleshooting, and solution implementation.
- Commitment to maintaining quality documentation and electrical safety standards.
- Experience conducting scope reviews on installations exceeding 1,000 volts.
- Ability to assist with cable pulling tension calculations and pulling plans.
- Willingness to obtain NFPA 70E professional certification (if not already certified).
- Experience creating Methods of Procedure (MOPs) for critical field activities, such as energizations, commissioning, and outages.
- Ability to audit field and internal processes for compliance with Lighthouse Electric’s quality standards.
- Willing to travel within the Richmond area for various projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with and a deep understanding of the IBEW (Preferably Local 666)
