Position Overview:
As a Lead Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm, intrusion alarm, access control systems, and surveillance systems. You will lead a team of technicians and ensure all work is performed to the highest standards, complying with relevant safety regulations, codes, and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of fire and security systems (fire alarm, intrusion alarm, access control systems, and surveillance systems, etc.).
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on complex technical issues and best practices.
- Perform system diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Conduct system testing and inspections to guarantee systems are operational and in full compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service, offering technical support and advice to clients.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service reports, system specifications, and installation records.
- Coordinate with other team members to manage project timelines and resources effectively.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in fire and security technologies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire and Security Technician with a strong understanding of fire alarm, intrusion alarm, access control systems, and surveillance systems. Experience in a lead or supervisory role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and codes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and licensed by the State of Oklahoma through the Alarm and Locksmith Act. Must have the following licenses: Commercial fire and burglar technician alarm license, access control technician license, CCTV technician license.
- Ability to work at heights and in various environments (e.g., outdoor, industrial).
