JOB OVERVIEW                                                                                                        

Assist the expansion of the current Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure Dataverse and other Business Systems within a manufacturing industrial organization. The role focuses heavily on collaboration across several departments to drive technology transformations. Initiate, plan, design, implement, text, and deploy critical configurations, solutions and business processes in line with overall solution architecture and implementation strategy.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take guidance and direction from Director of Information Technology while maintaining a strong independent work ethic
• Collaborate with all organizational departments to gather requirements for system development within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Design and develop high quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions using but not limited to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power Platform development tools, Azure Data Factory, and SSRS.
• Assist in the organization's implementation of the Service Now Platform. Develop API's within the service now platform to connect to third party applications and software to expand our current capabilities.
• Customize and extend the standard functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including designing and implementing new features, modules, reports and applications.
• Utilizing Customer Application Language (C/AL), AL Language, C# programming, .NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Visual Studio Code, relational databases, web services and APIs in relation to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to develop new functionality.
• Use strong expertise in Microsoft DevOps and ITIL/ITSM principles to improve organizational systems, document technical specifications, design decisions, and changes to facilitate knowledge sharing and system maintenance.
• Provide technical expertise, training and guidance to all departments to foster skill development and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree minimum, master’s degree preferred, preferably in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years experience of enterprise architecture, manufacturing industry preferred
• Application development experience in Service Now with a Professional or Expert Application Developer Certification required, Additional certification in Practitioner Implementer preferred
• Highly efficient at project management
• Strong interpersonal skills to support team members across the organization
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with C/AL, AL, C#, .NET, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Visual Studio Code     Microsoft Power BI/DAX at minimum, certifications preferred
• Application Development experience in Service Now with Professional or Expert Application Developer certification
• Preferred competencies with using and deploying from source control platforms (Git, TFS) and DevOps (Azure)
• Ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and manage multiple deadlines
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
