JOB SUMMARY:
Performs all aspects of maintenance and preventive maintenance on production equipment, building equipment, office equipment, building and grounds to ensure quality and efficiencies for the organization are met.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs line set-up activities in an efficient, timely manner.
- Provides line adjustments and preventive maintenance to maintain efficient line operation
- Assists in the maintenance and repairs of production equipment, building and grounds.
- Keeps maintenance log as required.
- Keeps maintenance supervisor advised of equipment spare parts needed.
- Coordinates with department supervisors when machines must be taken off line for maintenance.
- Works on high voltage electrical equipment and wiring to perform repair and installations.
- Oversees contractor work for facility modification and repair.
- Is trained and works in compliance with all plant and departmental standard operating procedures and safety procedures.
- Maintains plant safety systems so that they are operational.

Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledge of electronics, electrical services, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC required.
- Strong knowledge of production equipment and line set-up.
- Knowledge of aerosols and liquid filling preferred.
- Knowledge of high voltage services required.
- Troubleshooting and equipment repair, general construction, plumbing, welding, HVAC and carpentry skills.
- Ability to read schematics/diagrams.
- Ability to work on high voltage installations and electronics (PLCs, circuit boards, etc.).
- Able to drive forklift.
- Machining skills a plus.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Technical School Graduate (Maintenance Management or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, performing equipment/building repairs and line set-up.
- Experience with aerosol production a plus.
- Process logic controls/electronic expertise a plus.
- Project management experience a plus.
