Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily living activities.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, spinal taps, and botulinum toxin treatments when necessary.
- Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement health coaching plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records within the systems used by the facility.
- Assist in hospital medicine tasks as required, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Support patients in memory care by providing emotional support and engaging them in activities that promote cognitive function.
Experience
Candidates should possess:
- A valid LPN license from an accredited nursing program.
- Previous experience in patient care settings, preferably in outpatient or memory care environments.
- Familiarity with health coaching principles and techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
