- Requirements: Alabama LPN License and BLS
- 1 year experience preferred
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient care, including infant care when necessary.
- Assist with medical documentation and maintain accurate medical records.
- Utilize aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Support patients with acute pain management strategies.
- Assist in sterile processing of medical instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practices.
- Experience with medical documentation systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with dialysis procedures is a plus.
- Strong understanding of sterile processing techniques.
- Ability to manage acute pain effectively in patients.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
