Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities, emergency medicine environments, and outpatient clinics. The LPN will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care tailored to their individual needs.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations and case management for patients.
- Provide care for patients with developmental disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management, including occupational health practices.
- Participate in travel nursing assignments as needed, adapting to various healthcare environments.
- Provide support in toddler care when required, ensuring age-appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Strong understanding of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Experience or knowledge in emergency medicine, long-term care, or case management is preferred.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and sonography is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
