Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in medical terminology and documentation, with experience in various clinical settings including inpatient care, emergency room (ER), hospital medicine, and intensive care unit (ICU) environments. As a Registered Nurse in our facility, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within our Level II Trauma Center and nursing home settings.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in trauma medicine protocols as required.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Experience in inpatient care, ER, hospital medicine, or ICU preferred.
- Familiarity with trauma medicine protocols is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center or nursing home setting is advantageous.
