Position Overview:
- Screen and interpret gynecologic (GYN) and non-gynecologic (non-GYN) cytology specimens, identifying cellular abnormalities.
- Assist with Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) procedures, providing rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) as needed.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of results in compliance with laboratory protocols.
- Maintain quality control standards, troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies in cytology preparations.
- Assist in correlation studies and proficiency testing, ensuring adherence to CAP, CLIA, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Utilize automated and manual cytology screening techniques, including liquid-based cytology and special stains.
- ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) certification required.
- Florida state license (or eligibility) required.
- Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Experience screening GYN and non-GYN specimens, including FNA cytology.
- Strong knowledge of morphological criteria for cytologic diagnoses.
- Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in laboratory information systems (LIS) and digital cytology platforms is a plus.

- MondayFriday, 8 AM5 PM (No weekends or holidays!)
