Salary Range : $25 - $35 per hour
Job Overview :
As a Medical Technologist Generalist, you will be responsible for conducting a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses on patient samples to provide accurate and timely information to healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
Sample Collection and Processing :
Collect, label, and process patient samples in adherence to established protocols.
- Ensure proper handling and transportation of specimens to maintain sample integrity.
Laboratory Testing :
Perform various laboratory tests, including clinical chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, and blood banking.
Quality Control :
Conduct routine quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and precision of laboratory test results.
Documentation and Record Keeping :
Maintain detailed and accurate records of laboratory procedures, test results, and quality control data.
Compliance and Safety :
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines in the laboratory.
Collaboration :
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, pathologists, and other members of the healthcare team to interpret and communicate laboratory results.
Continuous Learning :
Stay updated on advancements in laboratory technology and medical science.
