Lighthouse Lab Services is seeking a highly skilled Molecular Technologist to join a clinical laboratory in the North Houston, TX area.
Position Overview :
As a Molecular Technologist , you will play a critical role in conducting PCR molecular testing and ensuring the highest quality standards in our laboratory. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in PCR molecular testing and meet the qualifications of a General Supervisor under CLIA regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge molecular diagnostics in a dynamic and growing practice.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform PCR molecular testing, including sample preparation, amplification, and data analysis.
- Maintain laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with CLIA regulations.
- Monitor laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
- Assist in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) activities to ensure reliable test results.
- Supervise and train laboratory personnel as needed, ensuring adherence to CLIA standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide insights for patient care.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results, maintenance logs, and other relevant laboratory records.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in molecular testing and implement best practices in the lab.

Range : $60,000-$70,000 depending on experience level (No relocation assistance provided).
