Our client, a highly respected law firm, is seeking a skilled Construction Litigation Partner to join their team. This firm is renowned for its excellence in legal services and offers a supportive and flexible environment for its attorneys.
About the Role : This position is for a partner to join the Construction Litigation Practice. The firm is Chambers recognized in the construction practice and represents a prestigious clientele, including developers, owners, and high-net-worth individuals. The firm offers flexible billing rates and a business development budget, along with a full bench of associates for support. Joining this practice means working alongside top-rated attorneys who handle a wide range of construction-related disputes. The team has extensive experience in contract negotiation, claim preparation and evaluation, and the prosecution and defense of contractor claims from pre-litigation through trial. They represent clients before state courts, federal courts, and arbitration tribunals, and have successfully resolved numerous complicated construction disputes at mediation. The practice places particular emphasis on private commercial and mass residential construction projects, managing high-stakes litigation involving complex construction law issues such as construction defects, delays, payment claims, and contract breaches.
Candidate Requirements : Income Partners should have a minimum $400k book of business, while Equity Partners should have a minimum $1 million book of business.
Geographic and Hiring Flexibility : The firm has offices throughout California and is also open to California-barred attorneys based out of state.
