JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Accomplishments in these areas of responsibility will be the basis of the employee’s evaluation, continuation of employment and change in compensation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all tasks related to mop winding production.
- Maintain necessary levels of raw materials and report potential shortages to supervisor immediately.
- Keep work area and machinery clean and in good working order.
- Maintain the required production output levels as specified by supervisor.
- Inspect products to identify and report possible defects, as specified.
- Work and coordinate within the product flow of the department and coordinate all activities with supervisor.
- Assist with routine inventory checks as needed.
- Adhere to the Lighthouse safety plan by utilizing safe workplace practices and reporting all injuries, accidents, near misses, emergencies, and safety hazards.
- Follow all ISO procedures as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School / GED preferred.
- Special Knowledge: Ability to safely operate mop-winding machinery.
- Experience: Two years of experience operating industrial machinery preferred. Additional experience will be considered when hiring.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
- Physical: Able to perform duties as required by department and function, accommodations may be made if reasonable and feasible. Able to lift 60 lbs. on a regular basis. Able to travel throughout the facility to safely and effectively manage all work responsibilities, breaks, and emergency evacuations, with or without a reasonable accommodation. Able to manage all self-care needs and activities of daily living as required to support successful employment, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Personality: Ability to work well in a team environment, dependable, willing to learn.
- Working Conditions: Inside, production environment.
- Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours, may be more or less depending on business need.
- Background Check and Drug Test Required: Employment is contingent upon satisfactory results.
