Job Summary:
The Lockbox Operations Manager makes sure the lockbox processing team runs smoothly. They guide the team, handle issues, improve processes, and help out wherever needed to keep things on track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the team, making sure everyone knows what to do and has what they need to succeed.
- Help out with daily tasks and pitch in wherever necessary to get the job done.
- Make plans and set goals to keep things running efficiently and on time.
- Keep track of daily work to ensure everything follows rules and company standards.
- Fix problems, answer client questions, and address any issues quickly.
- Look for ways to improve how things are done to save time and reduce errors.
- Manage schedules and resources to keep everything on track.
- Work with other teams and managers to improve processes and tools.
- Protect sensitive information and ensure proper security measures are in place.
- To serve as a backup for all processing functions within the operation.
- Assist the Lockbox Customer Service Manager in seeking ways to improve the efficiency of the operation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A college degree in business or finance (preferred, but not a must).
- Experience in managing teams, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills; willing to roll up your sleeves when needed.
- Comfortable working with data and using it to make decisions.
- Familiarity with lockbox systems and payment processing tools (a plus).
- Good at handling multiple tasks and staying organized under pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong PC Skills including: Word, Excel, Windows Explorer.
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Strong attention to detail with solid follow-up skills.
- Effective problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot when problems occur.
- Ability to thrive in a team setting
- Able to lift up to 15 pounds and stand for extended periods
