With over 50 years of experience placing talented individuals at small and global companies, we are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager for our site in Orange, Connecticut.
Position Overview:
In this senior role, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and lead all aspects of Engineering, Quality Systems, Customer Service, Tooling, and Production operations. Strong leadership and manufacturing experience are essential to succeed in this position. You’ll mentor teams, supervise departments, and work cross-functionally to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products, all while maintaining efficiency and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Implement Manufacturing 4.0 and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methodologies for cost improvement and operational efficiency.
- Supervise and develop direct reports, manage hiring, performance reviews, and employee growth initiatives.
- Audit processes to ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and quality standards, and continuously drive improvement.
- Monitor output, productivity, and resolve any discrepancies between targets and actual results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and ensure operational priorities are met.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field (required).
- 7 years of Manufacturing and Operational experience (required).
- Proven experience in a management role with strong leadership and team development skills.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and support operations according to company schedules.
- Expertise in using problem-solving tools such as Lean Manufacturing.
- Proven track record of team engagement and empowerment.
