Job Title : Quality Inspector
Location : Tualatin, OR
Type : Temp-to-Hire
Shift : 3rd Shift (10 : 00 PM - 6 : 30 AM)
Hourly : $19 - $22 / hr (Depending on Experience)
Position Overview :
Lighthouse Professional Services, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is seeking a Quality Inspector for a client in Tualatin, OR. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting and testing small and very small parts during the manufacturing and machining process. This includes inspecting first pieces, in-process, and final projects for dimensional tolerances and finish requirements, ensuring compliance with company and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Work from semi-complicated specifications, drawings, or other documentation
- Ensure product compliance by inspecting product characteristics
- Verify proper inspection methods as shown in SAP
- Verify shipments match part numbers and purchase order requirements
- Verify correct vendor certifications are supplied
- Conduct internal process audits for areas of responsibility
- Check parts for count, finish, quality of workmanship, and general appearance
- Make final determination if parts meet inspection criteria
- Report shortages or defective material / parts to the supervisor by generating reports and records
- Participate in and promote continuous quality improvements
- Experience with microscope inspection
