We are currently seeking a Tool Setter in Watertown, CT.
Position Summary and Special Duties:
Position Summary and Special Duties:
- Set-up and operate metal molding, casting or coremaking machines to mold or cast metal or products.
- Set up die and tools for a variety of preforming and molding presses over a range of 1-750 tons.
- Selects positions and secures die into machines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering/customer specifications and work orders to determine setup, production methods, and sequence of operation in accordance with quality documentation.
- Start press and observe operation to detect misalignment or malfunction.
