Responsibilities
- Directly supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by monitoring the distribution of medications and all other elements of patient care
- Conduct nursing rounds on each unit multiple times throughout the shift
- Provide education, as needed, to staff, patients, and patient family members
- Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines
- Record, report, and interpret patient responses to treatment and care to appropriate members of the interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
- A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an LPN or RN in the state of Massachusetts
- 2 years of nursing experience in skilled nursing facility or other healthcare related setting
- 1 year of experience as a nurse supervisor
- Primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine required
