What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver, Lighthouse (Full-Time) 3-11pm position at Lighthouse Senior Living?
Are you a GREAT teammate? Do you LOVE providing care and compassion for the elderly? Our Lighthouse Senior Living community is looking for a full time Caregiver. This is a primary position, in our Ellicott City location, giving you the opportunity to build strong bonds in healthcare environment. As part of the Wellness team, you will be responsible for assisting residents in varies daily basic life activities. We’ll expect a good bedside manner with at least 1-year relatable experience, CAN/GNA certifications a plus. Schedule is weekdays 3p – 11p with rotating weekends. Hourly rate starting at $16.00 with room for experience.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrated compassionate, patient with a strong customer service focus
- Ability to show tactful compassion in high stress and emotional situations
- Provide care as directed by the nurse or designee to residents residing in the facility.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition both physically and emotionally.
- Provide assistance with activities of Daily Living.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance, and use.
