POSITION TITLE: Program Manager
CLASSIFICATION: Full time, Exempt
SUPERVISOR: Agency CEO
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Agency CEO, the Program Manager will oversee the daily program activities of the LightHouse Social Service Centers’ Behavioral Health/Bridge Housing Rapid Rehousing Program. The Program Manager will provide staff supervision and assist with on-going program development. The program provides rapid rehousing services to individuals, including the transitional-aged youth (TAY) population who are exiting residential substance abuse treatment and are also experiencing homelessness. The Program Manager will work collaboratively with San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) social workers, residential and outpatient treatment service providers, housing and social service providers as well as mental health and medical providers. The Program Manager will have the knowledge of and the ability to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and program requirements. The Program Manager is expected to perform her/his duties in alignment with the vision and values of LightHouse Social Service Centers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for program management and program development.
2. Responsible for partnership building and community networking.
3. Responsible for staff recruitment and training.
4. Oversees portions of the program budget.
5. Works with landlords, property managers and housing authorities to access and develop housing options for clients.
6. Responsible for ensuring that the program, files, and program staff are audit compliant and audit ready at all times.
7. Accompanies staff in the field for emergencies, supervision and to maintain compliance.
8. Ensures program compliance, audits chart and monitors other program documentation.
9. Represents the agency at community and regional meetings.
10. Ensures compliance with Federal, State and County regulatory agencies
11. Other duties as necessary
Position Requirements:
a. BA or AA degree in Human Services preferred or two (5) years’ experience working in the field of homeless services or related human services experience.
b. Experience with culturally diverse populations.
c. Experience working in a rapid rehousing or permanent supportive housing program.
d. Experience working in substance abuse treatment services and/or the recovery population.
e. A minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience is preferred.
f. Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills; ability to work effectively with people.
g. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
h. Ability to work independently and as a part of a management team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
