What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer II / C# .Net position at Lighthouse Technology Services?
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our financial client to fill their Software Engineer II position! This is a 6 month contract with likely extensions based in Buffalo, NY. Hybrid onsite in Buffalo, NY is preferred but open to remote for the right candidate. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Work closely with stakeholders such as clients, project managers, vendors, and technical teams to gather requirements and define integration needs.
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions to connect various software applications, systems, and platforms.
- Ensure integration solutions align with the overall architecture and design principles by working closely with other development teams.
- Document integration processes, including system configurations, data mappings, and workflows; create data flow diagrams for integration processes.
- Maintain code in GitLab, ensuring proper documentation during check-ins and merges.
- Support integration testing, including executing test cases when necessary.
- Experience in system integration with financial, payment, depository, and data management interfaces, including but not limited to General Ledger, Clearing House, Demand Deposit Account, DTCC, and FDIC.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands on experience in the following development areas :
- NET 6 or higher with C#
- SQL Server (TSQL, SSIS), Power BI
- Azure Development

Pay Range : $55-$70 / hr
