Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Video Production Specialist role! This is a 12 month contract with potential for hire and will be hybrid in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Video Production Specialist who will produce, capture, and edit videos for both internal and external purposes, as well as working with our design and marketing team to create various genres of video content for our main sectors in Healthcare, Business & Industry, and Higher Education as well as for corporate internal audiences
The Video Production Specialist will report to the Creative Video Producer, and assist with the creation of new video content leaning heavily into motion graphics that follow our existing brands and guidelines. To be successful, the Video Production Specialist must be able to collaborate with team members at all levels, showcase a high degree of self-direction to achieve results, embrace change, and remain adaptable, and be excited about driving digital transformation within food hospitality and retail.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Conceptualize and execute design and animation for motion graphics
- Capture studio-quality video both on location and in the office as projects dictate
- Shoot and edit content to build a library of product videos, and/or case study videos
- Assist with all technical setup for shoots, including lighting, angle, placement and type of microphone, and positioning of individuals on camera (if appropriate)
- Collaborate regularly with creative teammates, marketing teammates, and senior management
- Develop an intimate understanding of our brand message and tone to accurately capture in video form
- Catalog, organize, and edit raw video files and content
- Nice to Have: Product, Lifestyle, and Portrait Photography
What You'll Need to Have:
- Strong portfolio showcasing your video and motion graphic work; MUST provide a link to your portfolio (and password if applicable) to be considered for this role
- A degree, diploma, certificate or equivalent with a focus in video production
- 2-4 years of video content and motion graphics creation experience
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Audition
- Experience in editing graphics in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is a plus
- Working knowledge of cloud-based storage, such as Dropbox
- Able to ask questions, seek to understand, and challenge the status quo
- Knowledge of current video and motion graphic trends
- Detail oriented, with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills
- Adaptable to changing requirements, even late in development, with creative problem solving
- Exude authenticity and a can-do attitude
- Knowledgeable of current video trends
- Open to learning and willing to adapt creative based on feedback
- Able to travel to local shoots max once per week
Pay Range: $28-$35/hr
