SUMMARY
The Settlement Officer will facilitate the execution of all documents necessary to close a transaction and issue a final policy. This position requires the employee to maintain and build a strong relationship with our customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Maintains and builds a good working relationship with all realtors and builder customers, lenders, settlement coordinators, and account executives.
- Facilitates the preparation of broker and settlement packages on behalf of the Company.
- Responsible for getting final numbers to all customers in advance of the closing that is satisfactory to the clients.
- Facilitates closings on behalf of the Company.
- Fulfills the title requirements for issuance of a final policy.
- Responsible for the review and adherence to lender instructions and draft instructions.
- Review documents in closed package to be certain all documents are properly executed, dated, notarized and witnessed, and forwarded to the appropriate authority.
- Ensures that closed files organization fits the guidelines as set forth by the manager.
- Forward payoffs and any bills for payment to appropriate party.
- Other duties as requested by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to use fractions, percentages and ratios to calculate commissions, tax pro-rations, and costs associated with a closing transaction.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to remian flexible to changing schedules and demands.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
