What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Clinician position at LightHouse WholeHealth Therapy Center?
We are currently seeking a self-motivated, pre-licensed or licensed clinician to join our team! We are accepting applications from LMFT’s, LPC’s, LCSW’s, MFT-C’s, LAC, CAC as well as LPCC’s for part-time and full position working with individuals, couples, and families across Colorado. This position can be hybrid with a minimum of 25 sessions per week including 20 hours in person. All other sessions can be a mix of telehealth and in person. LightHouse WholeHealth Therapy Center is a multidisciplinary team providing full therapeutic services for Occupational, Speech and Physical therapy to pediatric population, as well as full mental health services for individuals, couples and families across the state of Colorado. We specialize in working with children, teens, and adults of all ages experiencing all mental health challenges.
Job Description:
- Provide superb clinical care to individuals and families utilizing a whole person approach.
- Coordinate care across providers in an integrated setting.
- Work effectively and collaboratively with primary care medical providers while delivering behavioral health treatment.
- Maintain strong relationships with the medical providers.
- Work constructively and positively with individuals and families to reach agreed upon treatment goals.
- Provide goal setting and monitoring of achieved clinical outcome with clients
- Collaborate as needed with other programs.
- Participate with LightHouse WholeHealth clinical team for ongoing support.
- A minimum of 25 billed hours per week for 1099 Contractors.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Master’s degree (from accredited University/College) in related field required.
- Licensed or working towards licensure for independent clinical practice in Colorado.
- Proven excellence in clinical work and in administrative tasks to support clinical work.
- Well- organized, self-directed, and experienced as a generalist clinician.
- Experience coordinating complex care across various agencies in order to serve clients with multiple areas of need.
- Possess working understanding of the concepts of Healthcare Equity, Health Disparities and Cultural Relevance and their impact on service planning, service coordination and service provision.
- Possess awareness of the relationship between social indicators (such as immigration history, racism, access barriers, poverty, residency status, etc.).
- Possess working understanding of the impact of trauma on consumers’ lives and functioning and understand trauma-sensitive/trauma-informed approaches.
- Knowledge of Strength-based, Recovery/Resiliency-oriented, Wellness-enhancing treatment approaches.
- Case management includes timely completion of case notes, treatment plans, and termination.
- Summaries and any additional documentation needed for individual cases.
- Maintain professional, ethical, and legal standards for the State of Colorado.
- Attend regular supervision as needed for licensure (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly).
- Keep up with regular email and attend LightHouse WholeHealth Therapy Center supervision
